Basics of Drop Spindling

Limited to 6 students
Take the leap and begin the process of learning how to spin fiber. In this two hour hands-on class students will learn the basics of fiber types, techniques, and where to source product for spinning. Students will take home a hand-made wooden Drop Spindle and 2 oz of Icelandic roving that was grown locally on Cerissa’s farm.

Twisted Oak Farm was established in the summer of 2021. Sean and Cerissa Stockton, including their two children, purchased an 80 acre farm 10 minutes west of Spooner to start their dream of self sufficiency. Their farm consists of a small flock of Icelandic Sheep, Shetland Sheep, Dexter Cattle and a beautiful produce and dye garden.
