OPENING RECEPTION,  FEATURED STUDENT ARTIST KELSEY SCHULTZ

Please join us for the Opening Reception of our newest Featured Student Artist, Kelsey Schultz.

Kelsey Schultz, is from Gordon, Wisconsin and is a member of the Class of 2023 from Northwood High School.

 

My whole life, I have always wanted to do something with art. I used to just color in a coloring book at home with my mom. Now, it’s something I want to make a career out of. When I want to be creative, I like to draw and watercolor. My favorite type of art medium is painting. I love to paint because you can take a picture and make it almost “3D.” I also feel like I can make a mistake and fix it and the end product can still be satisfying. I took a graphic design class this year and I really loved it. Since that class, I have been looking into careers that deal with graphic design. I plan to have a career that deals with being creative because I don’t know how I can live without it.”
