Allie Nahorniak, is from Minong, Wisconsin and is a member of the Class of 2023 from Northwood High School. Allie says, “I’ve been making art ever since I picked up a crayon. I practice various mediums of art: traditional drawing, digital art, animation, ceramics and painting. When I paint, I have a general idea of subject and colors and I have fun with it. The shape of my brushstrokes are just as important as the picture itself. I am a passionate painter. When I start a painting, it consumes me and I don’t want to stop until it is finished. My plans for the future include writing and art and I want to find a career combining both. One day I hope to publish a book! In sharing my art, I hope that other people will feel encouraged to do the same. What we create is worth being seen.”
Arts In Hand Gallery is part of Wisconsin Northwest Heritage Passage, a non profit arts advocacy organization. The gallery is volunteer-run, supporting arts and artists in the Northwest Wisconsin area.
