Ever since I watched a pottery demonstration in my early days as a student in college I’ve been involved with a love to make pottery.
I have worked with other potters in their studios, as well as my own. I’ve worked as a production potter and also in sculptural art works.
I also managed a pottery studio with the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux community for almost 2 years.
Making pottery has always given me a sense of a kind of an electric alignment with the rhythms of creative flow that draws me inward.
Pottery to me is a dynamic form of meditation that brings me to my own center and just feels right when in the artistic process.
I am now living close to Siren on the Clam River with our own studio. Continuing to make pottery gives me a feeling of an uplifting richness.
Its really nice to be able to share some of my works at the Art In Hands Gallery in Spooner.
