    Stop and enjoy the smell of fresh pies and buns like Grandma used to make.  Wonderful juices and other good things.  The produce is from Wisconsin and Michigan, but Donna adds her own special touch.  These are frozen pies available all the time.  Fresh apples for eating and baking.  Call before you come or order before Thursday for special orders.

    In a charming 1895 octagonal schoolhouse, John dispalys his functional pots for home and garden.  He enjoys working with local materials for both clays and glazes, and utilizes wood and gas firing to finish his pots.  The shop also offers items from local artisans and seasonal vegetable and flower starts.  The restored building houses the pottery, gift shop and meeting space.  Schoolhouse gallery open daily 10 a.m.-5 p.m. or by appointment; showroom annex open 8 a.m.-8 p.m. daily.

    This pottery on the edge of the city of Bayfield will be celebrating 50 years of creating fine earthenware and porcelain in 2010!  During a visit you will see potters at work, and pottery in all stages of creation.  The gallery also features arts and crafts from area artisans, and the gardens out front are full of whimsical figures and fanciful items to brighten your own world.

    Joanie Temple does photography when she is riding her horse which influences her paintings.  Her work is for sale at Arts in Hand Gallery in Spooner, WI. name is Joanie Rider Temple…coincidentally..”rider” in German means “one who rides horses”. I first began photographing while riding in Colorado.. I realized the soul connection between horse and rider being captured from the saddle between his/her ears: thus my photos and paintings evolved into “From the Saddle”. I live in Shell Lake Wi. And my grandchildren call me.oma. I also love solo canoeing , cello, Helen my dog, norm the cat and belle , my horse and subject matter. It’s been said I paint everything that doesn’t move !
